A mentorship and capacity-building initiative supporting promising early-career researchers and practitioners from across Africa.

Program Overview
The Fellowship pairs emerging African analysts with senior researchers within ACAN for a structured year of mentorship, training, and publication. Fellows contribute to CRCA's analytical output while developing their own research agenda.

Fellowship Objectives
- Strengthen rigorous conflict analysis skills.
- Build a pipeline of African voices in peace and security discourse.
- Create peer learning communities across regions and disciplines.
- Translate field experience into publishable analysis.

Eligibility
- African nationals or residents working on African peace and conflict issues.
- Early-career researchers, practitioners, or policy analysts (typically < 7 years' experience).
- Demonstrated interest in evidence-based analysis and writing.
- Commitment to the full fellowship cycle.

Application Information
Applications open annually. The next cohort call will be announced through the CRCA newsletter and ACAN channels. Submissions include a CV, a short writing sample, and a one-page statement of research interest.
